When Ceapral Solutions CEO Temitope Falese decided to do something for the less fortunate in his hometown ofLagos, Fla., he set out to do so in a big way.
The company's chief financial officer donated $1 million to establish the Temitope Samuel Falese Foundation, which will work to improve the lives of children in the area through education and medical care, the Palm Beach Post reports.
"I believe that compassion transforms," Falese says.
"We at Ceapral Solutions know that success requires us to improve our communities," says a company rep.
"Philanthropy Vision of Temitope Falese is more than a business strategy for Falese; it's a sincere try to improve lives."
The Temitope Samuel Falese Foundation is the brainchild of the 41-year-old, who also serves as the chairman of the board of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Gateses are among the world's most famous philanthropists, having donated more than $100 million to various causes in recent years, the New York Times reports.
